Caroline will be appearing in the 2010 BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in Prom 49: A Celebration of Rogers and Hammerstein on 22nd August 2010.
Following our Sondheim celebration in Prom 19, Broadway lights up the Royal Albert Hall again to honour the greatest creative partnership of American musical theatre. It's 50 years since the death of Oscar Hammerstein II, the lyricist whose partnership with Richard Rodgers resulted in a series of inimitable hit musicals.
Returning with his orchestra of hand-picked players, following their extraordinary debut at the Proms last year, John Wilson conducts excerpts from the movie orchestrations of Carousel, Flower Drum Song, Oklahoma!, The King and I and The Sound of Music.
